Second2None

Second2None is our funky second-hand store and Angels Community Group’s main social enterprise. With the generosity of the local community, we are able to supply good quality second-hand goods and clothes to the people of Bundaberg. Second2None is also an opportunity to give our clients and volunteers real retail experience in a supportive, work environment.

Our clothing and shoe options range from formal wear to casual. We cater for ladies, men, teenagers, children and babies. AND best of all our clothes are inexpensive, most ranging from $2 to $10. It’s a little more for our formal wear of course, but they are definitely still a bargain. And you may just be surprised at the brands people donate to us!

Depending on donations, we are also able to help with:

  • Bed and mattresses
  • Furniture
  • Kitchenware – pots, frypans, crockery etc.
  • Linen, curtains

 

 

Loyalty Card

We love to be able to give back to those who support us so we introduced our Angels Loyalty Card. For every item you donate that we can resell, we will give you $1 store credit. The more you donate, the greater the rewards!

Terms & Conditions

♥ Please don’t be insulted if we can’t use every item you kindly donate to us. We are a little fussy and want to be able to offer you clothes in good condition when you shop with us.     

♥ We are unable to accept underwear for donations.

How you can help…

Remember us when you clean out your closets. We really appreciate the donations given to us and we guarantee we will resell at very reasonable prices. We want all community members to be able to afford our items, especially those doing it a bit tough.

Second2None is located at 45a Walla Street and is open Monday to Friday, 8am4pm. Donations can be dropped off during business hours.

Angels Furniture Restoration

Angels Furniture Restoration started as a small social enterprise in 2016 and is designed for all members of the community to get involved in. This special project offers people the opportunity to socialise, gain new skills, improve mental health and self-esteem, learn to recycle/upcycle as well as creating a sense of community.

Our participants and volunteers work most days creating furniture and other unique items and along the way learn a range of skills including woodwork, repairing and restoring furniture, warehousing, operating machinery and power tools, painting and finishing, etc.

Most of our furniture is made from pallets, ensuring a rustic feel that is complemented by a range of finishes including painting, oiling or staining. It is no secret – Pinterest is our best friend for project ideas! And not only is our furniture unique, but it is also very affordable and can be made to order. Please note that special orders require a minimum 10% deposit which is non-refundable.

We also don’t believe in waste, so if we get our hands on timber furniture, it is refurbished into a modern stylish finish and at a much cheaper price than new.

Community Furniture & Goods

Due to the generosity of the local community, we often receive donations of furniture and household goods. As a general rule, these are donated back to the community at no cost. This can be on a one-on-one basis or at one of our Free Garage Sales. Our partnership with Furniture Court/Beds R Us also enables us to give numerous beds back to the community. 

Please contact us if you are in need and we may be able to help out. Alternatively, if you have reasonable quality furniture household goods you wish to donate, you can also get in touch. For larger items, we can negotiate pick up for you.
